   I’m about to get two Maine Coon kittens (from the same breeder). I have had cats since 1990 along with dogs. My oldest cat died in October at 17+. We decided we’d be ready for a cat by spring. This book is a good prep for any kitten and the MC specifically (I’ve had a MC mix who died of HCM at 14 – hence wanting a breeder’s screening). I do wish that cat people wouldn’t assume that there are dog people and cat people. The describe introducing the kitten to an established cat, but not dogs. Since I’m a certified trainer, I have more than an educated guess on this, but others may need the pointers to introduce kittens to dogs.
